VICIdial · read only

Agent State Correlator

Check the Asterisk call count and one synthetic agent’s current state.

Use when: An isolated test agent appears ready but receives no outbound calls.
What to check: In an isolated lab, replace learner1 with your synthetic test agent. Configure /etc/vicidial-readonly.cnf with the actual database and a read-only account first; see /articles/vicidial-read-only-database-account. A matching row shows its current status, not a working call or bridge.

Asterisk · channel trace

DestChannel Timeline

Show recent NO DestChannel log matches, current channels and the AMI event types Asterisk supports.

Use when: A log reports NO DestChannel and you need starting points for a call trace.
What to check: The log matches supply line numbers; current channels are a snapshot and manager show events lists event types, not a chronological event stream.

Callback Dry-run Ledger

Count duplicate-number groups in one synthetic test list without displaying phone numbers.

Use when: Check a disposable test list for duplicate numbers before a callback exercise.
What to check: Select the actual database using a read-only account. Replace 90001 with your confirmed synthetic test list ID; use only an isolated lab. A zero means no duplicate nonempty exact-number groups in that list; this does not normalize numbers, identify callback owners or move records.

Asterisk · file integrity

Recording Boundary Audit

Count recording metadata for one synthetic lead without listing filenames or recording IDs.

Use when: Begin investigating a recording boundary using an isolated test lead.
What to check: Select the actual database using a read-only account, and replace 12345 with the confirmed synthetic test lead ID in an isolated lab. A count shows matching metadata rows only; it does not inspect audio or prove that recordings are separate.

SIP Resolver Preflight

Query the local host resolver and systemd-resolved, and list configured PJSIP outbound registrations.

Use when: Check a carrier hostname and registration status after a trunk stops working.
What to check: Replace the example hostname with your carrier hostname; these commands do not test a separate service namespace or all trunk types.

AMD Control Matrix

Count call statuses recorded during the past day.

Use when: Get a baseline status distribution before investigating answering-machine detection.
What to check: The grouped totals alone do not identify human answers or measure false-machine, drop or agent-connect rates; use labeled calls and a comparable control.
