Download this CSV: a small text file containing three fictional contacts. It has three rows and no header row, so every row can be loaded as a lead. All three use the same internal number.

Choose the lab list and map fields

A list holds the contacts a campaign can call. This upload goes only into your practice list.

1. In Administration, open Lists → Load New Leads.
2. Choose the downloaded CSV file. Select Custom layout and list 90001, then upload the file.
3. Map the five columns using the list below. Review the preview, then complete the load once.

Check the loaded records

A lead is one contact record. Check the records before making a call.

1. Open Lists → Search For A Lead. Enter 90001 in List ID, leave Status empty, and use the SUBMIT button beside that field group.
2. Open each result and compare its name, vendor lead code, phone number and phone code.
3. Write down each lead ID. Confirm list 90001 is active in LAB01.

You should seeTest One, Test Two and Test Three have codes BEGINNER-01, BEGINNER-02 and BEGINNER-03. Each has phone number 9001001, phone code 1 and status NEW, meaning it has not been called yet.

If the count or fields do not match

If the count or fields differ, inspect the loader results and mappings. Do not upload the file again until the administrator checks which records already exist: duplicate checking was disabled for this lab.
